Buying

Escrow protects every purchase

When you pay for something on Tradex, your USDC moves into escrow -- not directly to the seller. The seller only gets paid once the trade is confirmed delivered (or once the confirmation window elapses without a dispute). If something goes wrong, the funds are still in escrow and can be refunded.

Two kinds of listings

Most listings are unique items -- you buy the whole listing at its listed price. Some listings (marked as a currency/quantity category, e.g. in-game gold) let you pick how many units to buy at a per-unit price, down to the seller's minimum order.

Instant delivery for digital codes

Listings backed by digital inventory (codes, keys, credentials) deliver automatically the moment your payment clears escrow -- no waiting on the seller. Open the trade page and use "View code" to reveal it. Everything else about the trade (confirming receipt, the protection window, disputes) still works exactly the same as a manually-delivered item.

After you pay

The seller has a delivery window to hand over the item (skipped entirely for instant-delivery listings). Once it's marked delivered, you have a window to confirm receipt -- confirming (or letting the window elapse) releases the funds toward the seller, subject to a short post-delivery protection window before they can withdraw it.

If the item never arrives, isn't as described, or anything else goes wrong, open a dispute from the trade page instead of confirming. An admin reviews the evidence (including your chat history on the trade) and decides.
